We Are

We are the light of the world, a city set on a hill that cannot be hidden. Let our light shine before others in such a way that they may see our good works, for God deserves all the glory. Our light cannot be taken from us, but only by the One who gives us the light and inspires good works through His mighty words alone, Abba! -CM

Some Are Trying To Find

Some are trying to find happiness, and it’s not working out well. I say this because we are falling back far more often these days, and our minds are always changing us with unstable feelings. Happiness is not something to be found. Instead, joy is looking for us. Joy is looking to live within us, not like happiness without. The greatest secret of the two is that joy is greater and better than happiness if you are looking for a lifetime of laughter and peace. Therefore, try to live a life of joy within. For within joy, you will always have the power of love that lives within you and out, all at the cost of joy. Cease looking for happiness and let’s find joy! -CM

How many states have you been to?

Well, this mine also includes the island 🏝 of Puerto Rico. Start traveling more; it doesn’t have to be only by flight. It could also be by just taking a nice road trip with family and friends (and I wouldn’t advise going with strangers). I do encourage you to go see it and/or other islands and/or maybe countries that fit your financial means. -CM

The Advice

What advice would you give to your teenage self?

The advice I would have given to my teenage self would have been, nothing, but God blessed me with wisdom already at that time. I would instead say I am proud of my teenage me for standing up my ground and never giving up on myself or my faith when I was struggling with my family issues and giving up everything to start again by myself at 19. For not listening to the outsider who tried speaking negatively about my life and for saying, because I am pretty I will sell my body for money to survive in this world. I AM PROUD OF TEENAGE  ME, For reminding me that in the heart and the mind, not even my parents knew who I was or what I would become. It was only God and me against the odds. Teenage me you were right where you were supposed to be and that’s what God had intended for you to be at that time and that’s why we are where we are today. Blessed! -CM
