What a world we live in. I just want to take a moment to thank God for His Son, Jesus Christ, who died on the cross for our sins.
Yesterday, I watched an interview with an African woman—it was probably an older interview—and she made a powerful point about Elon Musk. She spoke about how, as one of the wealthiest people in the world, he has access to tremendous resources, while so many people around the world struggle to meet their basic needs. He has enough to feed all nations and their next generations. Yet, instead of focusing solely on helping people, we are witnessing a growing push toward technology and robots that could eventually change how people work and live.
I personally believe that work has value and purpose. One of my favorite sayings comes from Scripture: “If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat” (2 Thessalonians 3:10).
I also want to be clear that these are my personal convictions: I believe we should be discerning about where the world is headed. I personally have concerns about Elon Musk and, based on my understanding of Scripture and what I see happening in the world, I believe he could be connected to the spirit of the Antichrist. I do not claim to know the future or God’s complete plan, but I believe we should remain spiritually awake and test everything against the Word of God.
So, say no to anything that takes the place of God. Say no to the worship of money, power, technology, or people. And never compromise your faith for temporary comfort or material gain.
We do not worship money. We do not worship other gods. We worship the Lord our God alone.
Pick up your cross. Seek the Lord. Stay in His Word. Pray for wisdom and discernment, and do not allow the things of this world to pull you away from God.
Thank You, Abba, for allowing me to share what is on my heart. The video I watched last night has me reflecting deeply, and so much begins to make sense when you truly seek to understand the Word of God.
Jesus Christ is Lord. Let us keep our eyes on Him. ✝️❤️
