Do you believe it would be a beneficial idea if Southwest Airlines were to acquire Spirit Airlines?
I believe the answer is affirmative, as both are budget airlines operating two distinct aircraft types, and Southwest’s recent adjustments no longer differentiate them. I understand that the government is not seeking another major airline, but this would not be the case. I would be delighted if these two companies were to merge. I sincerely hope these considerations are brought to their attention.
