I Condemn Violence

Regarding the current news concerning the conflict between Venezuela and the United States, particularly in relation to alleged drug and terrorism violations, I wish to express my disapproval of the actions that have impacted the people of Venezuela. It is my hope that the indictment issued in the New York State courts will lead to accountability for all alleged violations and that Mr. Maduro will consider stepping down from his position. The populace did not cast their votes for him. I earnestly hope that Venezuela can surmount its difficulties and regain its former strength, becoming once again one of the most prosperous nations in Latin America. May it transform into a destination worth visiting, free from fear, despite its past under authoritarian rule. I trust that the corruption attributed to Maduro and his administration will cease. To the people of Venezuela, please do not be apprehensive about the current circumstances. I understand that some of you may feel anxious or even frightened, but the recent actions were directed against the alleged corruption of Maduro and his spouse. God providence watches over your beautiful country, and I pray that you maintain your hope, for peace will ultimately prevail in your nation, and the path to freedom will be rediscovered. May you all be blessed and delivered from the influence of detrimental political figures who have opposed you. When the will of the people has been expressed, the government should honor their sentiments, in the name of Jesus Christ. Venezuela shall rise and be respected once again. – CM
