Interesting how you see joy and happiness as something different.
Many people including myself I must admit see joy and happiness as being the same.
But in terms of Christian belief, they may not be the same.
As C.S. Lewis makes clear in his book Surprised By Joy.
Reflecting on the loss of his beloved wife Joy.
He is not happy about it.
But somehow finds joy (to be found only in Christ) as he reflects on the brief time he spent with her.
